Singapore is, to say the least, complex.
We’re so small, it takes less than 5 minutes to fly over us in a jet. At the same time, we’re so big in terms of development, technology, and all other things that we’re told about in the newspapers which I will not regurgitate.
However, we do have one of the world’s best airports and one of the world’s best airlines, not to mention all the stories and memories we have involving them.
With that, “In Transit”, an anthology of fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction, is making an open call to anyone who has a story to share about being in transit in Singapore, air travel, and airports. Edited by Yu-Mei Balasingamchow and Zhang Ruihe, you can find more information on this anthology here. Closing date for all submissions is on 31 May 2014.
Note: You do not have to be Singaporean to submit to this open call. Your story must, however, have a Singapore perspective to it.
