Signal Boost: Help Books Actually!

Signal BoostIf you were to ask me to recommend a list of must-see places in Singapore, Books Actually will usually make it to the list (more so if you’re a literary lover). Therefore, I would like to use this post to urge everyone – book and Books Actually fans alike – to support Books Actually in the next stage of their journey!

THE BOOKS ACTUALLY 10-DAY SALE

From the 21st to the 30th of April, Books Actually will have a 25% discount storewide to raise funds so that Kenny Leck and his wonderful team will be able to get their own place and set Books Actually up at a more permanent location.

Apart from being a bookstore, Books Actually is also affiliated with Math Paper Press, a publishing house that has produced various Singapore Prose and Poetry, many of which are currently being sold in Books Actually itself. (Publishing names like Alvin Pang, Verena Tay, Stephanie Ye, O Thiam Chin, and Loh Guan Liang, just to name a few)

Moving from Ann Siang Hill to Tiong Bahru, we would definitely love to see this fixture of Singapore Literature continue to grow and give us what the Singapore literary scene can offer. Therefore, do go down and show your support for Books Actually!
