Muse Moment: Twitter Haikus Issue #1

Muse Moment

At the beginning of this month, I wrote a few Haikus on Twitter just to get rid of some residual literature which had no place to go. So I’ve collected about 7 or so Haikus and thought I’ll share the first five on Book Bites =)

5th June 2011

Falling rose petals,
Dropping in on Winter’s night,
Replaced by snowflakes.

6th June 2011

Stretching tensed muscles,
The bones against each other,
Relief sets quickly.

10th June 2011

Catching falling leaves,
The Autumn breeze remains crisp,
A kiss of freshness.

14th June 2011

Commercial Digits –
Bodies all beg the question:
Where did their soul go?

15th June 2011

Your plan, my burden.
Double wrongs don’t make a right.
My account, your flight.

I never really came up with titles just yet, mostly due to the fact that I wrote these Haikus out on a whim. But I came to realise that it was something therapeutic and another avenue to exercise the subconscious literary juices.

There are some haikus and other stuff sitting in my drafts so I’m going to release them in groups just to share as and when the time is right. So stay tuned and thank you for reading =)
