From the depths of the sunny island of Singapore, a group of speculative fiction writers sit in a coffee shop at the corner of a mall, away from common eyes.
Okay, cutting out the melodramatic nonsense, us Speculative fiction peeps have decided to come up with a sampler that is intended to come out for this year’s Singapore Writers’ Festival. Headed by our own Miss Hallelujah, this is what we’re calling for:
That’s the theme we will be looking for for this short story sampler. It has to be:
- Speculative Fiction (a.k.a. Genre Fiction – stuff you see on General Fiction, Science Fiction, or Fantasy shelves)
- Have a link to Singapore
- 2,000 – 6,500 words
