As the month of October draws to a close, and that means…

NANOWRIMO!!!

This year’s poster for the Singapore Chapter. Credit goes to Sarah Coldheart.

The Nanowrimo Kick-Off details (in case you can’t see the poster):

When? 27th October 2012 (Saturday), 4-6PM
Where?
Bishan Public Library, Programme Zone, 2nd Level

For those who have no idea what NaNoWriMo is, it’s the National Novel Writing Month – held every November on an International basis, thanks to the brains at the Office of Letters & Light in Oakland, USA. So the participants go through NaNoWriMo every year for their own reasons, but with the same, united goal – 50,000 words in 1 month.

In Singapore, it’s pretty much the same thing, only that most of our stuff is organised by our Municipal Liaisons – Sarah Coldheart and Raven Silvers. And things will get pretty exciting. So don’t be shy with this, we won’t bite. For more information, click here.

Hope to see you there!
